Super Smash Bros Brawl

The Basics
The game Brawl is a classic beat em' up game with plenty of action.
With 2-4 players on maps that can be 100% covered in half a minute at most
Brawl is an action packed game with many unique characters all
with their own style of fight. Some have weak attacks with great ability to stay alive, others have powerful attacks with not so great ability to stay alive while others are in between.
Gameplay
The gameplay is all the same, but not alike at all. Every match has 2-4 players on teams or a free-for-all and you beat the crap out of your opponent. It's not the same by the fact that there are so many maps, items, and players. You may not believe me but every little thing, whether your enemy is link or samus, or whether you have smash balls (explained later) or not. It's all different. It does get annoying when you are playing team battles and your teamate constantly losses for you by dieing too much or stealing your kills or blocking an attack. The campaign is just facing random enimies from many different nintendo games and the occasional boss. This allows for annoying moments when you don't know where to go or how to defeat something. The gameplay is extremely fun at first but dies down quickly.
Online Gameplay
The online gameplay is okay. Just you and three others on battling with or without teams for victory. You can use any character or any map but it takes forever to load and there is extreme lag. Online is not the reason to get this game, the best part is the regular skirmishes and that's about it.
The Verdict
Overall this a pretty good game but it needs a different type of gameplay and multiplayer could use some work. The graphics are cartoonizied and are pretty good for thier style.
Final Score: 8

  1. Fun gameplay
  2. Amazing beat em up
  3. Huge variety of characters
