Plot
The year is 2025 and the world has been engulfed in the flames of war. The standard military is no more. Now there are 3 PMC's(private military co operations) that countries must buy to fight for them. You can choose to be S.V.E.R, the underdeveloped gangsters, Raven, the high-quality tech guys, or Valor, the standard military and play alongside thousands of online users. Each of these PMCs have pros and cons that can affect you as a player which adds an element of strategy. Every time you win you help your PMC get bought off buy countries so that you can wage war easier. Overall, there isn't much of a storyline but it is strictly multiplayer and has the only storyline I've ever seen in online gameplay.
Characters
In M.A.G you get to create how your character looks and sounds. When you first start up the game you get to choose facial structure skin color, all that fun stuff. You also get to choose how he sounds. There is a huge variety of choice and it's all pretty well done. After you've started you can put on different types of armor like heavey bullet proof vests, or light weight mesh. When you start leveling up you can unlock things like helmets, goggles, glasses armor color and more. As well as unlocking items for looks, you can also unlock gear. Different types of guns like, SMGs, LMGs, Assault Rifles, Snipers, and handguns. All of these give a new look to you that makes you seem more badass. Overall, characters are really well done even if graphics in this game aren't too good.
GamePlay
The gameplay is what killed this game. First off, it's a tactical online shooter so you have to constantly take cover just to stay alive, and camp just to get kills. Also, if someone has played the game a lot and knows good snipeing spots, it becomes impossible to kill them because you can't see them with a sniper and you can't get to them by ground because, well there's 256 people on the map. You figure it out. i do know that that's suppose to be like real war but I prefer it to be a bit smaller or more of what I'm about to mention. I do like how the massive action is organized into squads, but your squad rarely covers you, which is the entire point of having squads. Everyone just goes out on their own, fighting for themselves. Now I know I've been bagging a lot on the main aspect of play but it's actually an ok game. The devolper, Zipper had the right idea, they just didn't put it together correctly. The game was also the first of its kind so they had no resources to look to, they created it on their own. It has potential but it still isn't an amazing game.
The Verdict
This is actually an okay game. While it does have some issues and needs work it still made me happy when playing it. It does loose its steam pretty fast but improvements can be made to fix that. Dosen't change the fact that's this game isn't that good.
Final Score: 7/1o

- Good variety
- It's like real war
- Huge wars
